- Find a professional videographer who has had vast experience shooting weddings.
- Book an appointment to discuss their style and to see their work. Analyse whether the style suits what you're after, whether the images are in focus and sharp and whether the camera is steady.
- Make sure you're clear on what the videographer offers. A great idea is to get it in writing as well as prices, so there are no misunderstandings. Usually a full DVD of the wedding ceremony, the photoshoot afterwards and the wedding reception are included in videography packages.
- A great idea is to ask for a wedding highlights DVD from the day which in comparison to the first DVD, is a lot shorter in duration.

Pre Wedding Fitness
Looking and feeling beautiful on your wedding day is a must. Whether it's losing weight, or just toning up, we can guarantee most brides-to-be have at least thought about a physical tune-up before their big day.
Research tells us that near the top of the list of pre-wedding worries for a bride is not looking and being in the best possible shape for their very special day. Four out of five brides try to lose weight before their wedding but many do not succeed.
Hiring a personal trainer especially in preparation for your special day can be one of the best decisions you'll ever make. Having someone there to encourage you to eat healthy and exercise regularly can be helpful. The three important areas of looking fantastic for your special day are of course a healthly eating plan, an easy to follow exercise program and knowing how to stay on track with both of these these.
There is huge demand for Personal Training Services in this area because we get results. Most brides tend to leave their own fitness to the last minute because they are attending to all the other things around their wedding. So training programs in this area are short in duration, but intense in nature.

Dream Dress
Choosing the perfect dress for your wedding is one of the most important things in planning your wedding day, after all eyes will be on you on the day.
Here are some helpful hints to finding your dream dress.
- Work out what time of the year your wedding will be in. This will influence the type of gown you choose and material it’s made from.
- Set a budget inclusive of shoes, accessories and veil if you decide.
- Look through bridal magazines and think about what style you might be after. Just remember the dresses may look completely different on you than the model so be open to trying different styles as they may fit you better.
- Find a few options of bridal stores that match your budget, location and style you’re interested in and book an appointment at the store.
- Go to your scheduled appointments. Ask for the store assistants opinion as to what style might suit you the best. They are professionals and know what styles fit what body shapes.
- Once you find a dress you like don’t purchase it until you are completely sure and have tried a range of dresses on. Take photographs of you in the dress to see how it looks in photographs and don’t rush into purchasing it. You can always ask the store assistant to write down the details of the dress.
- Just like you had the feeling about your fiancĂ© being ‘the one’, you will also get that with the dress. Shop around until you find your dream dress you fall in love with.

Make Me Up
Hair
There's nothing like the perfect hairstyle to complement the perfect dress on your special day. Whether is a stylist up-do or loose curls, here are our a couple of helpful hints for amazing wedding hair and make up.
1. Find a good hair stylist. This could be through your local salon, searching the internet or the best is recommendations from friends who have been happy with the service they've received.
2. Have a trial run of the hairtyle you might like for your wedding day a few months before the wedding. Take photos to take with you when shopping for headpieces. Think about how the hairstyle looks like from all angles and how it will look in photographs as you're going to be photographed from a range of angles.
3. Find the perfect headpiece or accessories to go with your chosen hairstyles. You could go veil, a sparkly comb or a sparkly bobby pin. The key is to complement the rest of your look and just remember to keep it simple.
Make Up
1. Try to keep your face natural on your wedding day unless you want to look as pale as a ghost or have a cake face. The key is looking natural enough to look good in person with your guests but have your features stand out in photos sometimes.
2. The best way to have perfect wedding make up is to get it professionally done. Make up artists will be able to give you the look you like and be able to give you ideas about what colours and tones will look good with your skin tone. They will know all the tricks of the trade by covering every blemish and giving a flawless finish. After all, they are professionals.
3. Have a trial run of make up is just as important as your hair. Most make up artists offer packages to make the process more economical and you prioritise and can go as simple or complex as possible.
4. Relax and enjoy the process. There's nothing better than being pampered. This may be having a massage, facial or manicure so you end up feeling completely refreshed and renewed before your big day.

Trigger Happy
Choosing the right photographer is one of the most important steps in planning your wedding. Here are our top five tips in choosing a great Wedding Photographer:
1. Find a photographer through recommendations from friends, searching the internet, Bridal Expos and Bridal magazines. You may have an idea of what type of photographs you would like on your special day so try and select a photographer who has a similar style to what you're after.
2. Select a photographer and ask for a consultation to view their work and discuss what ideas you may have in relation to photography. This meeting will give you an idea of their ability to meet your expectations, their style and their ability to tell a creative love story through images.
3. Ask good questions, like how long have they been shooting, how much experience they've had shooting weddings and what other projects they've been involved with. Also ask if they work alone or have an assistant.
4. Know exactly what you're getting for what you're paying and know how much will it cost. Make sure you get this in writing, either in a brochure or an email. Verbal agreements don't give you much to stand on if something goes pear shaped.
5. Ask if they offer Pre-Wedding Shoots. Pre-Wedding or Engagement Shoots are often a good way to get to know the photographer and to help the bride and groom feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.

Blooming Bouquets
A beautiful bouquet can be the finishing touch to your special day! Here are our three top tips for choosing the perfect bunch for your special day.
1. Part they Play
1. Part they Play
Whether it's a delicate bouquet or an elaborate collection that makes a statement, think about what part you want flowers to play on your special day. Some things to consider might be what will fit in well with your colour scheme, your personal style and what will complement your wedding theme.
Most commonly wedding flowers are for the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid, flower girl, groom's buttonhole, corsages and sometimes ceremony arrangement and table centrepieces.
If you're not sure what kind of flowers to choose do a little research for some ideas in bridal magazines, on the internet, gardening books and so on.
2. Budding Budget
Decide on a budget. Flowers can cost thousands of dollars so think about how much you want to use flowers. Also think about what time of the year you'll be getting married and what is in season then. This can dramatically affect your budget.
3. Find a Fantastic Florist
Finding a fantastic florist is the last step in having the perfect flowers for your special day. Your florist will be able to tell you what flowers are in season at the time of your wedding, suggestions of what flowers would best suit the style of your wedding and the costs involved. Dream Wedding Australia have their own florist on board who has had over 15 years experience in the industry so feel free to contact us for any questions you may have. Please visit our website for more details see more photos of our wonderful flower selection here.
