A Grand Reception

A fantastic way to carry a theme throughout a wedding is with flowers. Beautiful floral arrangements on reception tables that match the Bride's bouquet or the arrangements at the ceremony. Great way to bring colour, life and fragrance to a room. There are so many different options for reception flowers. Floating flowers, glass vases or cut flower displays, so there is definitely something to suit everyone's particular tastes and styles.

Trigger Happy

Choosing the right photographer is one of the most important steps in planning your wedding. Here are our top five tips in choosing a great Wedding Photographer:

1. Find a photographer through recommendations from friends, searching the internet, Bridal Expos and Bridal magazines.  You may have an idea of what type of photographs you would like on your special day so try and select a photographer who has a similar style to what you're after.

2. Select a photographer and ask for a consultation to view their work and discuss what ideas you may have in relation to photography. This meeting will give you an idea of their ability to meet your expectations, their style and their ability to tell a creative love story through images.

3. Ask good questions, like how long have they been shooting, how much experience they've had shooting weddings and what other projects they've been involved with. Also ask if they work alone or have an assistant.

4. Know exactly what you're getting for what you're paying and know how much will it cost. Make sure you get this in writing, either in a brochure or an email. Verbal agreements don't give you much to stand on if something goes pear shaped.

5. Ask if they offer Pre-Wedding Shoots. Pre-Wedding or Engagement Shoots are often a good way to get to know the photographer and to help the bride and groom feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.

R.S.V.P

Having the perfect engagement party and wedding invitations can set the style and tone for your wedding.

Wedding Invitations announce to the world of your special day. They are usually mailed five to eight weeks before the wedding date and sent out on behalf of the Bride or her family. Sometimes 'save the date' invites are mailed a few months before this date so guests can keep the offical wedding date free. We are sure to have the perfect invites whatever your taste and theme. We off digitally printed invitations, photo invitations or beautiful handmade invitations.

Dream Wedding Australia offers a special collection of invitations using the finest papers, ribbons and embellishments and all invitations are designed by our very own graphic designer.

Blooming Bouquets

A beautiful bouquet can be the finishing touch to your special day! Here are our three top tips for choosing the perfect bunch for your special day.

1. Part they Play

Whether it's a delicate bouquet or an elaborate collection that makes a statement, think about what part you want flowers to play on your special day. Some things to consider might be what will fit in well with your colour scheme, your personal style and what will complement your wedding theme.

Most commonly wedding flowers are for the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid, flower girl, groom's buttonhole, corsages and sometimes ceremony arrangement and table centrepieces.

If you're not sure what kind of flowers to choose do a little research for some ideas in bridal magazines, on the internet, gardening books and so on.

2. Budding Budget

Decide on a budget. Flowers can cost thousands of dollars so think about how much you want to use flowers. Also think about what time of the year you'll be getting married and what is in season then. This can dramatically affect your budget.

3. Find a Fantastic Florist

Finding a fantastic florist is the last step in having the perfect flowers for your special day. Your florist will be able to tell you what flowers are in season at the time of your wedding, suggestions of what flowers would best suit the style of your wedding and the costs involved. Dream Wedding Australia have their own florist on board who has had over 15 years experience in the industry so feel free to contact us for any questions you may have.
